2:39 ET Egghead.com (EGGS) 19 5/8 +2 5/8: Stock up 15%,
on very strong volume of 6.3 mln shares, after one firm started
coverage of online software retailer. As reported late-yesterday
on this page, Riley Capital Research started EGGS with a
"strong buy" rating and a price target of $85. Noted that
Egghead.com's 3 Web sites generated most of the $30 million
dollars in revenues that the company reported in the lastest qtr,
which is approx. the same level of revenue that Amazon.com
generated in its year-ago quarter. Intraday range 17 1/8 to 19 15/16.

The company, once known for a string of Egghead Software retail stores, has signed an agreement to lease a vacant building at 512 S.E. Chkalov Drive owned by The Al Angelo Co.

That's 2 miles from where I'm sitting.
