The question is not one of speculation, but rather, whether the speculating is done in the dungeons of one's own mind or a public forum where, perhaps, the more rational among us can be of assistance.

No argument there...especially if the departure is related to accounting practices.

There is no indication that Singleton's departure is related to disagreements over how the books are being kept.

By the way, separating the CFO and COO functions is a positive as it indicates the company thinks the COO function requires the full attention of someone with operations experience.
