Reading between the lines of press releases can be very entertaining sometimes. For instance, this one says nothing about the actual number of tools involved, the shipping date, or the dollar amount. It could be anything from "AMD orders 100 IMP systems for 4Q98" to "AMD will use Applied for Cu, if they survive long enough to switch to Cu at all."

Remember, AMD is the same company that recently announced the same kind of bad earnings news that everyone else is announcing.
