Unfortunately I agree with you Giora. IF the MM's are doing this they are successful only because there is no buying! The "market" (investment market, that is) is not aware of FTEL. I believe that FTEL is being "punished" because of their past false starts and as a result news releases are not being given any weight. That is why the last few news releases have generated VERY little volume! I don't see anything changing this in the short term and that is why I am concerned about the NASD listing. I just don't see events unfolding in sufficient time to get the price above $4 by Sept. 2nd. I hope I am wrong but due to past problems following through I don't think investors are going to start beating the doors down until after some good numbers are released. I think we are AT LEAST another quarter away from that. Now... if everything shapes up like everyone is projecting for the quarter ending 9/30 you may see some good action in October/November timeframe but that will be too late for the NASD listing. I hope I am wrong.

giora,
I to have been around a bit. I remember 1996 in nov.-dec. and while ftel was deploying there isp and we were all signing up for service and reporting to this board about the superior quality the stock did nothing but go down and down and down. Why who the hell knows, but someone profitted by it. The big buying by those on this board did nothing to prevent its downward drift.Heres how it works. The mm or whom they represent knows the company is on the verge of big things. They want a large position 1/2-1 mil plus. They hang out a huge block for sale just above the bid and effectively put a cap on it.Some buying comes in from time to time 5,10 m20 k and what they do is jump the asked quickly without raising thebid much. You want the stock pay through the nose. This also effectively stops upward pressure. All the while they try to induce selling so they pick it up on the bid as they drop it away. They use shorting techniques and every other trick of the trade. They cant lose because people will sell out to them and there is no fear of huge buying coming in from institutions. Thats why mms have a licence to rob on the bbs. When will it end, when they have enough and like magic it starts to pop up on very little volume and you scratch your head and say how is this happening.Or one of the many big people the company is talking to about fnet finance takes a look at the bargain price the parent stock is selling for and starts buying a few hundred thousand shares or so.They may time there move to conceal there game(though they usually dont give a dam)by timing the upward move with co.announcements instead of stepping on the announcements.Any rate the game is now in the end game stage and after 6 months of trading below every moving average the future from even a stock price vantage looks far better than the past.have a nice weekend.I will.
