peter-- GTE CLEC? they are deployign WSTL equipment. funny you should mention that. you are talking about the leap of faith we all have to take in pulling the trigger on a trade. if it isnt gut wrenching for you, you dont know what your doing<G>. so fromt hat angle, you should feel a lot better. but, as i said, its a choice you have to make. for me its a no brainer since you have a position in the stock at much higher valuation than current. of course, i dont know what your situation is...it may make no sense for you to average down. but i tend to think that it does make sense. good luck to all, trey
