I have been holding Bay and following this thread for a long time. While I have been averaging down, my average cost is still quite high. Unfortunately, (at the time) I missed the spike into the low 40s but I just wanted to announce that as of right now, I am back into the black for the first time in a long time. Thanx for all the useful info. (No I am not selling just yet.)

G. Richmond-

I put my question to Bay's IR re coordinating the earnings release with NT and they gave me a similar answer. Also, they said that since they are both still independent companies, coordinating the release of financial data prior to public disclosure would have been illegal. I agree, in retrospect, that having two announcements only a day apart is not a bad thing. Still, even if NT meets/slightly beats their number, I don't think it will have major impact that Tuesday. The Street is more concerned about Bay's report, because that was the issue that drove down NT's price when the deal was announced. The big moves(in volume, if not price) will come on Wednesday, 7/23(IMHO). The market certainly seems to be factoring in good news at this point. Let's hope none of us are disappointed. Consensus is $596MM revs and $.13EPS(operating). Sure would like to beat those numbers handily, especially the revs(anything over $610MM would be great!!).
