Confession time. Feel free to skip this post because all I'm doing is clearing my conscience. The post I'm responding to (#941) is one where I predict TEVT will break $1.08/share. The stock did break a dollar, but only for a matter of minutes. It turns out that what I recommended was a house of cards.

The rumor was (and still is, for that matter) that the company was being bought out by ELF at $2.25/share. Even the company itself, TEVT, said an announcement would be made "by next Tuesday" (which was July 14). Next Tuesday came and went and all we were left with is hypesters whose "sources" have lost their credibility and a company that is now saying they will have an earnings release in the second week of August (oh, boy).

My money was were my mouth was: In at .51/share, out at .31/share. Moral: Don't believe every hypester. Sometimes they are guys like me who think they are doing a good thing (providing a solid tip), but really they have no idea what the end result will be.
