Tony. CPQ, AMD and Intel. Thanks. This last link worked. Interesting theory they are having on a PC maker owning a chip plant. I have quite a bit of CPQ - so I would not mind. I have quite a bit of Intel - so I probably do mind. What is this saying? Caught between a rock and a hard place? Well, I won't make my brain work too hard before I leave on a short trip to the beach. This stuff will be here when I get back and it is, after all, just a rumor. gg. It is pretty interesting also that Gateway is mentioned as an AMD suitor. I, and I am sure everybody else, has heard the rumor that there may be a buyout regarding Gateway? Hm. I don't know if this analogy between a Russian and a German sounds alright. I think the Germans have better vision thinkers. gg. Just kidding all you Russians out there. Anyhow, I just heard that the German economy is supposed to get even better. This may help CPQ and therefore E. Pfeiffer with his vision. He did not say 2000 something. Last time I heard him speak I heard 2000. So, I will hold him to it. If his vision is wrong, I will sell. gg. Naw, probably not if he is somewhere close in the ball park. BTW. Did you by any chance read my post to Frank today? I put a link about Zap on. I just heard on TV that Barrons will have a feature on Zapata tomorrow. Barrons supposedly is saying: Don't laugh at Zapata. I guess they mean that the CEO has a good vision for his internet plays. I hope so. I'll talk to you in the year 2000 again about E. Pfeiffer's vision on being a 50 billion company. I would not want to bet with you on this one though. gg. Oops. Almost forgot about Intel. The GVT and Intel compromised on the date of that upcoming suit. They switched it from the Infinity date to Jan. 5th 1999. And here is an article you may want to comment on.
