Being Short is not necessarily evil, no more than being long is. In fact, it helps put capital to where it is most deserved. Fraudulent companies which squander company cash and dupe shareholders do not deserve to receive funds from the capital markets. A short which exposes this helps divert capital to more promising and deserving situations.
