Here's the real gold....Softbank owns 31% of Yahoo, and is going to cross advertise. Looks like EGRP has emerged as the online broker of choice on the internet.....the valuation, given that it is less than 3X book, should be astronomical.

I may be stating the obvious, but this is good news IMO. Strategic acquisitions, joint venture in Japan with Softbank (which included an option for Softbank to buy $50 million worth of EGRP, BTW) and now a $400 million war chest. While the stock's been languishing, Christos has been busy planning the future of EGRP.

Done for today, the Street gets to spend the weekend thinking about this. Looking forward to Monday. The only possible negative interpretation of this I can think of is that those hoping for a buyout may be disappointed.
