My take:

1) .15 - .18 is not completely shocking on the face of it. I am surprised it's not much worse

2) the real key to whether it gets shellacked is guidance for upcoming quarters

If they provide few additional details then this report probably defers much of the pain until the report comes out. Clearly the negative trend continues in the stock, so anybody that thinks that another 1 or 2 points down is a buying opportunity is either smoking dope or under the mind altering influence of their own position in the stock (i.e. a bit too much pride of ownership, and too little skepticism).

Time will tell, but no reason to believe this is near the bottom.

Rick.
