Kirk,
I held some AGAI briefly last year. I believed then and still do that
they are a potential takeover candidate by either NVLS or LRCX for
the patent/technology rights. IMHO if AMAT comes out with an integrated single wafer "thin gate oxide" chamber on one of their
multi-chamber platforms then AGAI will be dead unless they are acquired. In the short term they need many orders to change direction
and become profitable. They can't remain alive with only 1-2 sales
of R&D systems for very long without some marketing/sales muscle that could be had if sold as part of a "package deal" sales approach by a larger company with adequate resources. There are other methods of
growing/depositing thin gate oxides other than steam that may make
this technology quickly obsolete or passe', IMO. It depends on whether someone else builds a better "mousetrap" with the international muscle to market and support a competing technology.

In any case, Good luck. I would consider any profits in AGAI above
20-25% as a sell signal, take the money and run.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
