Rand,

Actually both sides are willing to investigate the J/L process. Current management has continued to provide ore for testing to Dr Johnson and paid for his ongoing research. CarL Campbell and 'Al C's' statements to the contrary are wrong. The difference is that current management is also pursuing a conventional process and is unwilling to agree to a deal with J/L until the process has been verified. Sounds reasonable to me. The other side of the debate appears to want Naxos to agree to a major deal with J/L before it has been proven. They also have expressed significant resistance to conventional testing. It is my concern they want to cease conventional testing before it is verified because such proof would weaken J/L's negotiation position. They have argued that spending money on conventional testing is a waste of money. Apparently handing over up to a third of the company for an as of yet unproven technology is cheap.

But it is important to recognize that Naxos continues to investigate J/L and has funded the research. Statements to the contrary are incorrect.
