Just doing some catch up, I read some of the posts on the board but finally said to my self "Whats the point ?" IR question, let me see if I understand this right,, 5/29/98 sor date is meaningless 7/7/98 x-date, any shares I have as of this date get the split,, No one knows when they get paid but expect to know around 7/18/98 or so ? What/who is controlling the pay out ? btw, somthing interesting happened this week, Assuming the 7/7 x date, due to the fact that I bought more P shares after the mess (before 7/7) and a few more Friday at 5 5/8, I have an AMSC on the common <.34 One of my accounts it is actually less than .2, so on paper, I do not have a loss at all,, converting p's to c's wise. not bad given the state of things. I hope others were able to pick up some cheap shares as well. It's always a panic sell that cost's real money. Dirty Harry practicing with his new S&W 6" .44, what a hoot !
