I expect Intel to have a 500 Mhz Xeon with KNI in Q1. AMD may be able to make 50,000 to 100,000 500 Mhz K7 in Q1, if all goes well. I wouldn't be surprised if the K7 is 50-100% faster than the K6. Clock for clock, it should be much faster than Katmai or Xeon. I don't think Intel has a major upgrade to their processor core until the Willamette in late 1999.
