Hi Robert, You are correct. Although Alberta Crown land sales are held every 2 weeks, the first sale of any "Strachan Lands of interest" is August 19, 1998. That sale will not be a barn burner though as only 1.5 sections are posted. I interpret the 2 posted parcels as "feelers" for bigger things to come in subsequent sales. The subsequent sale (Sept 2/98) has NO STRACHAN LANDS POSTED AT ALL. So, the bigger sales are down the road.
