hey guy, congratulations on your g trade...it's kinda interesting that you mentioned g...a couple on weeks ago on tsc jimmy c(has a better ring to it than "cramer", don't you think?) pitched the idea of buying insurance in case of a market runup by buying some cheap(read: costing only a few teenies) out-of-the money calls...he didn't mention any names but he suggested that end of quarter window dressing and new money coming into 401 K's might make large cap growth stocks attractive...the idea made sense to me so i poked around and spotted some g july 60's and some ge july 95's, both selling for 1/4 on 6-24...anyway, i unloaded the ge's last week for a buck and the g's are now 2 1/2...so a 4-bagger and a 10-bagger ain't too bad for 3 weeks work...but best of all, i picked up on an idea that i'll bet will work again sometime down the road

but hey, if taking the stocks biz week hypes on thursday evening and scalping a few teenies on them the next day turns into a profitable long term strategy for you, by all means go for it...but if your're looking for a tip sheet, tsc certainly ain't the place

cheers,
wade
