Tom:

Well where does that leave shareholders? Personally, I'm tired of begging for information. Shareholders have asked and asked, even pleaded for information on this forum, as it is the only avenue open to us. And now its going to be closed down? Per who's request?

What happened to the last TMMI sponsored talk page? A new one as soon as possible? When is that?

Because of one person, the rest of us are left in the dark? Does that sound fair to you? Not to me.

I'm really disgusted.

Sherry

Hi Tom. I doubt if there are more than one or two people here who even know who Mr. Haskins is. I just figured it was another randomly picked fake name. I agree with Sherry that it isn't right to shut down the board because of one offender. This Trial Memebership thing that SI is going through sucks, IMO, if they can't collect enough info on a trial member to even know who they are. I don't know what info you have to give to get a trial membership but there should be enough to be able to track down the poster. Maybe there is, and if there is then it seems like it would be better to go after the single offender and not the whole group.

The TMM thread has existed for years, first on Prodigy and later here. I don't think you realize how irritated your shareholders will be if you are successful in shutting down discussion of TMM on SI. Some people have paid a lot of money to be able to do so, and there are many more that read this board religeously. The TMM chat page would be great but the same problems will be there, just like before.

I think the board should reconsider trying to shut down the board. Go after individuals if they have caused damage. That would be my vote as a shareholder. Besides, with things going the way you say they are about to for TMM, I don't think we'll have a problem here anyway. I haven't spotted anyone here that wouldn't turn positive if they were making money. <g>

Take care,

shotgun

Now perhaps you understand what I meant by "vermin" way back? This is nothing new but I'd rather see the culprits apprehended rather than the stifling of free discussion and attacking forums which make such discussion possible unless they do not respond to complaints. I have gotten prompt response from SI in the past. If "real damage" has been done, then you should go after those responsible rather than throw babies out with the bathwater.

I might add that I had one clown thrown off and SI has deleted posts in the past when there has been good reason.

i went back to the haskins posts...i think a trial member can only
post 3 times a day, and you can use any name you want...you have
to supply your personal info to get into SI, but i dont know if
you could lie about that....the posts sound familiar to me, and i
will talk to you about that privately...i suspect most of us never
heard of this guy, and didnt realize the it was that bogus...but
thanks for at least commenting on the great progress you are
making...i know you are pissed, but hopefully you will rethink this
thing later on

PLEASE.... enough with the idea that the future of TMMI rests on the quality of posts. My god... I used to sign on with expectations of seeing pertinant information. Nowdays a person weeds through 30 personal attacks and counter-personal attacks followed by whining and counter-whining. What ever happened to IGNORE those that are looking to get a rise out of you in the first place. Geez.... the more we respond, the better these geeks feel they've been successful. As far as blaming the woes of TMMI on rebel posters based on names or comments that are viewed by potential investors or business partners... give me a break. Obviously this is not desirable but to think that business savvy people who are actually IN TUNE with the actual dealings of "OUR BUSINESS" are listening to the "Hopeful Masses" or the "Dreaded Troublemakers" of our little SI group is laughable. You'd think our posts are being fed directly to CNBC or something.

My advice... which is obviously not worth anything... is to quiet the naysayers by actually accomplishing ALL that we are hoping for and I'll be happy to lend my name or any others that Mr. Haskins wants to use. GET THINGS DONE and than actually start letting us know what is happening as soon as time is right... the quicker... the better. Until then... don't waste your time or ours reading our meaningless posts.

Sorry.... off my soapbox now.

Lance (An original grassroots contributor, still hopeful follower, but disgruntled reader of the drival the TMMI SI board has become)

Echo:

Who is Mr. Haskins? I've never heard of him. I've had people try to use my name on Yahoo and I follow a simple technique: I answer each such attempt with a post saying that it's not me. I guess you've already done that but who in the world is Mr. Haskins?

Arnie

Tom, for what its worth, the phoney who was abusing Mr. Haskin's name was not appreciated much by most of us around here either. I certainly meant no disrespect to the real Mr. Haskins in my retort to the highly inaccurate statements made by the phoney and I hope you can nail this guy to the wall and leave him there. Also, as Shotgun said, few of us (including me) knew of the real Mr. Haskins' involvement with TMM.

I believe the last thing any real TMM investors (OK, except for a couple of idiots) want is for this thread to be counter-productive to TMM's (and our) success. I hope we can find a happy medium of spirited discussion of TMM while keeping inside information and false information off the board.

I also think the email circuit is not a bad method of passing on information either. Our current email list is extensive and the names are known entities.

Please pass on our apologies to the real Mr. Haskins,

Bruce
