Whether you're long or short TDFX, dialup the Diamond CC at

As TDFX did over 50% of DIMD's total 2Q revenues, there's a lot of info here on TDFX, and a lot of interest by analysts.

Well worth your time.

Hal,

Your ten reasons are all well and good but I don't think they hit the heart of the matter which are OEM contracts for Banshee. S3 is going to put out an inexpensive 2D/3D combo solution that, based on current benchmarks and tests, has very good image quality, performance and DX6 advantages (hardware compression). Dell, Gateway, Micron, Compaq, IBM etc. will look at the available parts and will choose the least expensive part that still gives good performance. The Savage has to be the current favorite to garner many of these OEM contracts. Banshee, PVR2 and G200 will have to compete/win in this price/performance range that the Savage is establishing.
