Which box OEM is going to give money to Sony to bundle their drive? Call me silly, but Compaq is going with Zip. Can you show me any OEMs who are even thinking about Sony?

I know just a minor oversight, but lets be a little more rationale. You need to ask your employer for some better material.

Backwards compatibility has yet to be effective enough to differentiate the products. Gosh maybe Sony could also build a 5 1/4" drive just to make sure they really cover their bases - I mean everyone really wanted to keep those 5 1/4"s around
