Yes, a devaluation of the yuan would be icky. First impact on the yuan itself, though. And then, of course, on the Hong Kong dollar. I don't think the renmimbi matters much. But what's the best play?

I think we have to ask Henry Volquardsen. He's lotsa fun, a currencies and interest rates derivatives MM, has a thread called "Currencies and World Capital Markets" (I think) that's extremely interesting. Check it out.
