Y do we care about Johnny.... so he's an idiot.... there's a lot of it about, and many of them get elected..... knew a guy called James Morgan once.... was a decent executive until he started to believe his own BS, now he's a friend of Johnny's.... Kanute I like to call him.... he honestly believes that he can beat the tide..... and he played into Johnny's hands.

John: It always feels good to be right in the old stock market game, I hope you never miss one single call because your fellow thread partners are going to crucify you.

Everyone, I put buy orders in on AMAT at 25 1/2 and 22 three weeks ago, honestly no one saw this coming. when the industry is having trouble----- wait for a bottom and then buy the top dog ie: cisco. You all seem very intelligent. Remember when AMAT hit 21 7/8 2 years ago and then went promptly to 100+.

Be patient and pay for your kids college with AMAT.

I guess they will now stop producing chips or furthering any technology because today AMAT didn't sell as much product to companies who can't manage themselves properly.

For any of the related tech folks to make their way out of this mess I guess they might need state of the art technology to produce new products.

Rome was not built in a day.

AMAT is still the big dog on the street, This is not COKE it is a cyclical tech stock that always offers a chance to get in low and make some dough.

Enough preaching

The last laugh will be ours.

Dave

Paul,
Dallas Semi did beat lowered estimates and rise $4 on trading... but it might be naive to think it will hold any of those four bucks in the next two weeks... suspect it will trade lower during the summer tech stock vacation

eh? Jim Willie
