Uh oh, going after my profession again Christine? Tsk, Tsk. Christine, taxes which are necessary I support. We need a military, we need police, we need roads and bridges, we need many other things too. But we don't need to raise our taxes any further than they already are. Especially if there is little evidence to support the money being spent actually working toward fixing the problem. Just spending money for the sake of saying you're more compassionate may make you feel better, but it destroys families trying to scrape by on meager salaries. What we need to do is actually look at the government programs which are in place, and get rid of the ones which are not working! Then if a new program is needed, we must have clear goals to measure the success of the program by. It's simple common sense, yet how many people are willing to look at these programs without their ideological blinders on? Michael
