this coming friday, before the bell.
the street is looking for 30 cents.
HD has surprised every quarter but one (4/98) since April of '97.

...so we can all pretty well rest assured that we won't be taken out
and shot on the 17th, but i'm more interested in whether we can touch 55 on an
intraday-pre-earnings-run-up basis, or even close around there on friday.

is this too pie-in-the-sky ?
