Dog,

It is amazing how the analyst's opinions can change overnight.
INTC was in the doghouse just a week or two ago. Now, it is looking good.

I told Cheryl about a year ago that Sun would be forced eventually to dump their SPARC products and that Solaris was going to be dominated by NT. She got personal denied it emphatically and guess what?..... Puckhead is adopting new policies as fast as he is forced. Solaris on Merced. Solaris on Xeon. Next Sun will be in the PC box business again and they will have to fire their engineering department.
Sun forced to compete with CPQ and DELL. That will be an interesting experience. Sun will eventually be bought out by a larger company. Perhaps, Fujitsu or Nortel.

Didn't notice this SJ Mercury item until just now but it probably helped contribute to yesterday's performance. See sjmercury.com for details.
