Micron (Superdog Micron!) outperformed Yahoo by a mile...on expanding volume. Vitesse and MMC Networks made all-time closing highs... The (broadband) Internet buildout is going to put demands on semiconductor makers we haven't dreamed. It will make the long PC boom look trivial by comparison. There isn't enough capacity, and as you know there are important technology shifts in grometries and the move from aluminum to copper which will fuel a new cycle for the equipment makers.
