Wow...!! Looks like it's going to come down to the Matrox G200 and the S3. The latest drivers move the S3 up to V2 speed in Quake 2..!

It's pretty apparent that there's 2 real players here (still haven't seen numbers for NVidia's new TNT chip yet). And taking into account what S3's selling Savage 3D chips for, um, doesn't take much brains to figure out they're gonna sell well...very well.
