To all, From the Vol. 2 #15 July 6/13, 1998 CJITI Weekly News Item #5 OHIO PURCHASE OF AFIS SYSTEMS The Lorain County (OH) Sheriff's Office will soon receive a $46,000 live-scan AFIS system, purchased at a discount from the retail price of $70,000 by the Ohio Attorney General's office through a federal grant. The Kettering Police Department was another of the 26 departments that will receive the Indentix Live Scan System, making a total of 60 AFIS systems across Ohio.
