Alan This is a matter of perspective. what I mean by this is the following. it does not mater if emile or robert feel that you are christian or are offended by how you choose to represent your christianity or how you choose to call Jesus. they dont make the rules for you or anyone else. they only make the rules for themselves. If you believe someone makes the rules for you, you are giving that person power over your decisions. the reverse is true also. it doesnt matter if you think emile is wrong, you are not his judge either. The reality and cold hard truth is that if you are comfortable in how you practice your faith, then continue on, without caring how others feel about it. they hold no power over you that you dont give them. That doesnt mean you should nt continue to argue for and promote your beliefs, it just means that you shouldnt let others validate those beliefs for you. I mean, if I let others validate my own spiritual beliefs on this thread, I would have been run off long ago:-) Not much call for liberal, new age, Unitarian Universalists, and ex-jews around here:-) mark

I completely agree that we should not be against any people or country. The Bible is clear that the Jews were and still ARE the chosen people. That does not make them better than Gentiles, there is no competition going on here. Christ died for all!! Scripture is clear that we are to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem". I feel that the United States is a perfect example of God's blessings towards those who bless Israel. In my opinion I think the US is blessed for being established by Christians on a Christian foundation and for always supporting Israel. I think that Emile is a Christian and that your words were a little emotionally charged - I can understand that. I believe that Emile has some misconceptions about the Jews and Israel. Many Christians have been led astray in certain areas but still hold to the Rock - Jesus Christ as Savior. As long as Emile holds to Christ as his redeemer he is a Christian regardless of any of his other opinions. Bob Lorcheim using Steve Meyers id.
