The activity you are referring to naked shorting is illegal. Unfortunately more than Canadian brokers are involved. The activity includes European Banks and Hedge funds, many operating within the US using branches overseas. The company be performing will eventually force them out. Expect attacks from them as they try to protect their positions !

News out on NVMH. They are launching a lawsuit against the shorters!

I am encouraged by this for 2 reasons: 1) The company REALLY believes that the shorting has occurred and probably has proof of the shorting.
and 2) they finally are profitable enough to pursue this! Waahoo!
