Rare: I acknowledge your concern about the industry...it just seems to me, given the amazing possibility of a settlement outside of big government, that the tob cos. continue to hold enormous clout and power,...we may not even have a clue as to the extent of their influence....I may be dead wrong, but in their own way the cos. still seem able to pull off their own agenda...the defeat of the McCain bill was very impressive to me and I'll bet big mo had more of a say in it that we know. I think trial lawyer greed is a real trump card that the industry can continue to play, I mean everybody down to the building janitor knows who wins in class action suits and we are all disgusted with it. This case in Miami though looms as VERY interesting to say the least, and indeed this may be the last hurdle to much higher stock prices.
