We don't grow anything but some flowers and trees on the 5 acres. Corn and soybeans are the crops on the 350 acre farm that my great, great grandaddy settled on part of. And no, the Indians weren't using that ground when he got there, at least not until he married one and then she was using it. The rest of the ground came from presidential land grants to my great grandaddy for sponsoring a platoon to fight Santa Anna and those boys stole Santa Anna's supper and wooden leg.

One duck was killed by a neighbors dog and the other was given to a friend who had a whole flock of ducks.
