Xris, goal to beat NDX +30-40% to breakeven.YTD ndx is up 35%?Not SPY most of our mony is probably in top 100 naz stocks (ndx). one can easily beat sp500, since s&p is low risk. NDX is high risk. sp 500 pe = 26-27 naz pe is 57. see the risk in ndx so ndx over a period of years FAR out paces sp500. BTW: i can not check your figures for accuracy since I am not u, when i click on the your link I see nothing. if you are trading (not in ira), u need to make another 30-40% to pay for fed/state tax. this will break u even. that is why i trade in ira. knowing i will win more often then loose, i don't want to pay taxes for my hard work and risk i take. so if u r not going to do index + 40% one should buy SPY. chris, in the two years, i have known u, u have come a loooong way, I hope your parents realize that. I remeber trying to convince u to buy warrants instead of the stocks for leverage. if/when i retire i m gona learn your Get stuff/ metastock etc. u made a beliver out o me.
