Hi JS. I think I have been reading this thread for sometime. Even read back about 3 months before I started "contibuting". You said:I can understand a Claude Cormier who come from a purely geological background but making hypothetical accusations of fraud is another matter. What posts have you seen here that would insinuate that? This is where I get ticked off with bulls on a stock!! Most threads want only positive glowing reports stated on their threads!! Why, because they hope that the "influence" of the positive statements will assist the value of their stock. which by definition is "self-serving". When a poster comes on the thread and makes negative comments based on his belief, he is quickly smited. The reason, because the guy/gal must be a shorter and is trying to influence the stock downward, which of course is "self serving". I see no difference between the two groups, absolutely none! Other than the level of "piety" the so called "positive" people try to exert over the "negative" people. EXAMPLE (csuze the caps) I believe in a stock which I won't mention because it belongs on the appropriate thread. I will call it "xyz". I bought XYZ at $5.00. I stuck up for the stock, believed wholeheartedly that it was a $9.00 in disguise! About three "proclaimed" shorters came on the thread and predicted $3.00 . The gave all their reasons as to why it would go to $3.00. The longs screamed blue-bloody murder, calling them everything but "royalty". The fact of the matter was the stock went to $2.85!!! I learned something very important right there and then. If you believe speaking positive thoughts will make a stock go up, then you are naive, if you believe speaking negative thoughts will make a stock go down then you are equally naive. It may (in shortterm excursions) influence "those who panic" but that can also be said about the person who states $25.00 as a target, he caused somebody to go out and pay "market" to an MM. The same way as a forecast of "0" will cause the same panic to sell at market to an"MM". The only difference between what you perceive to be positive thinkers, is in all cases you believe you are right, it is "the pious highroad" if you will. The pious quote the "Bre-X" pre-split value of $280.00 as "future things to come". The pious quote Diamond field resources as "future things to come", all in pursuit of monetary self gratification. He/she is applauded by his other "positive thinkers" as a "healer of his time", a visionary that should be seeking sainthood. Then a shorter appears and utters "Crystallex, Bre-X," and others. The pious jump!! threatened that their "positive" influence is erroding. They become "pious en masse" and herd like bulls defending their calfs and females. DOUBLE-STANDARD say what!!!!! Disclaimer. I have neither owned long, or shorted GE stock, I continue to do my DD and may in the future own the stock (long or short). I wish all longs and shorts good luck!!! Sorry for the theatrics, but the play I was too attend was cancelled last night.....Romeo, Romeo where for art thou Romeo, Geez Julliette I was down havin a beer at the local...get off my back!! the Chief
