Millennium bug claims hit Lloyd's
By Neil Bennett

LLOYD'S of London is being hit by claims from the millennium bug, more than 17 months before the end of the century, as insurers prepare for a tidal wave of insurance litigation that is expected in 2000.

At least six technology companies have notified their insurers at Lloyd's that they are likely to make claims under their existing policies. These companies are expecting to be sued by some of the business customers to which they have supplied software which will crash at the start of 2000.

Bill,
Are you coming over to my camp now????<GGGGGG>I am still a chicken when it comes to options lately and your comment was a part of my concern about taking a stake. Many indicators are "sloppy"...but that has been the case for some time.I just can't see on the charts a BK yet...am I that blind??Sure I personally think this is way out or whack...but my charts won't give me a signal either way that makes it a good bet.You have saved me $$$ several times and I thank you. So keep digging and let me know what you see later this week..more insight might come more readily after expiry...in addition we will get a ton of earnings over the next two weeks. How much more can this market discount everything??:)
Regards,
Barbara,

PS.Did King's Island with the girls this weekend.GHEEZ! I am too old for that stuff.Hope I earned enough "points" that I won't have to face crowds, lines, rides, lousy food and "wierd" people for a loooong time! But they had a great time.My day was really upset by seeing how people yanked and smacked their poor little children around.I accused one women of child abuse and she said they were "her" children.(YOU know it's hard for me to remain quiet)When I complained to two attendants they said it was terrible but the park had no policy about infants or toddlers!I saw about a 3 month old screaming from the extremely loud noise in some 007 virtual reality thing.Sorry to ramble but I am still upset!:(
