I use Schwab... bought 100,000 shares yesterday @ 4.8 cents/share, paid about $140 commission. That's still probably higher than a lot of deep-discounters... BUT...

My caveat to you, is that when you find a broker that makes you pay next to nothing for a trade, you are sometimes going to get hurt in ways that are harder to measure...

For instance, I put a limit order in for my MAMH yesterday at 5 cents/share... but only paid 4.8 cents...

I've seen NUMEROUS times just like that, when my Schwab 500 broker was able to keep my buy/sell price reasonable... I'm not sure about some of these deep-discounters...

It all comes down to this - - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I just switched from Waterhouse to National Discount Brokers. Can buy as many shares of OTC or Nasdaq stocks for one price, $19.95.

Sounded good to me.

I have to pay $12 per 5,000 with Waterhouse so to buy 100,000 shares worth $5,000 there would be $240 in commissions. Not to mention that you would have to buy in 5,000 share lots or the commission is 1 cent per share or $1000 for 100,000 shares.

p.s. Trying to recoup some of your ACMIC losses also? :o}
