Perhaps these fanatics were raised by racist parents. Perhaps they were done an injustice at one time by an unholy caricature of someone Jewish, or they simply find Fran Drescher incredibly annoying. Some secular Jews don't help their cause by embracing the political left and secular Marxism and humanism and thereby alienating the Christian right particularly in the rural south. Nonetheless this is not an excuse for universal hate anymore than OJ is an excuse to be a racist.
