Hi Jim. You said:
One thing that this case should point out to a lot of people, especially those using aliases - you are not as anonymous as you may think. If someone really wants to know who you are, it is not that difficult to find out. May take a court order, but it can be done.

Alot of people use aliases. I chose this one because I was called Chief for 12 years as a result of that rank in the Navy! I am also Cree indian so was called Chief prior to that, needless to say.

That is part of the reason that I use my own name, but the main reason is that I feel that I have nothing to hide, and you have a lot more instant credibility when people know who they are speaking with, or listening to, less time needed to prove yourself.

This is also where "equal misrepresentation" comes in. Suppose I signed on as "Bill Gates" would you think I was ? No, I think not ? What about "William Doors", or "Jim Bishop" maybe? I find most people who really want to know who you are will send a PM. I would say at least 60 threaders or more know who I am, what my e-mail is and correspond regularily. I limit most of the available info, because of the wacko's out there. In these days of cyberspace. A person can punch your name into "411 online directory" find out where you live, get your phone number and come over and "mutilate your flower bed"!!
Nope for as long as their are wacko's in the world.......

Respectfully, the Chief
