Not really other than the ones you mentioned. The problem with facility expansions is that they are so large and the cost is so huge and the airlines are SO cost conscious, that they squeeze local governments, municipalities, and contractors for near zero profit margins with the claim that the increase in infrastructure will benefit all business in the community including the contractors who bid on the construction. That is the theory anyway, and I'm always amazed at the number of government officials and contractors that buy into that.

You are right though, LAX is straining at the seams as well as every major airport that I fly into in both North America and Asia. I understand that the growth in construction for the next 5 years will not even come close to the anticipated passenger growth, and that these facilities will be at maximum capacity the minute they open the doors.
