INNI - I/Net 643 Crosstown Parkway Kalamazoo, MI 49008 Phone: 616-344-3017inetmi.com CEO - James C Knapp President - Stephen Markee VP - Paul Bertodli Business Description: (from there Web Page) I/NET was founded in 1982 as an information systems research firm and quickly established itself as a leader in the development of multimedia concepts now synonymous with the Internet and the World Wide Web. I/NET's work in areas such a digital imaging and voice recognition for clients such as IBM, Kodak and Upjohn helped apply truly intuitive computing to real world business problems for the first time. The company became publicly traded in October 1993 under ticker INNI. I/NET has grown to become a leading source of Internet products for the worldwide users of IBM's midrange AS/400 computer system. Share Info: Outstanding: 31,037,653 Held By Board: 12,025,000~ Single Holder: 2,244,000 Also was told by INNI that IBM holds 16% (could not find hard verification of the number of shares) which would be Aprox 5Mill Leaving aprox 12Mil in Float. Trades in the mid .20's except when put out by newsletters spikes to low to mid .30's. This company showed a profit last Qrt and has some big things in the works (already have agreement with Netscape to port over Netscape server suite to AS/400). The president told me in early May that they were 3/4 of the way to the Netscape port over. Estimated early to mid July for Beta release. This will add tremendous revenue and possibilities for the company. Also have a relatively new product called CareerNet. An online job headhunter service software. Pretty impressive looking. careernet.com It is a reporting company and I feel that there is some potential when the real world starts to see it. The Netscape deal was not even included in the last 10Q so next qrtr could show tremendous increases, IMO. Also look at this post: Message 4714832 This poster has dollar value's associated with some of INNI's products. This stock seems to move on newsletter hype about .10 to .15 cents with no news. (seen that happen three times) Their web site contains the PR's and a link to there SEC filings. This is from the last 10Q: The developer and marketer of Internet- and Intranet-based software applications for mid-range computers reported net earnings of $33,565 on net revenues of $432,781 in the first quarter 1998, compared with net earnings of $24,017 on net revenues of $269,748 in the same period last year. The 1997 results included an extraordinary one-time gain of $97,946 from the extinguishment of a previously recorded debt. I/NET attributed its second best ever quarterly revenue results to the further development of its internet and intranet products and web site services. Looks good to me comments appreciated.
