Peter, So is it true the purpose of an option , besides limiting the risk is for speculation and not intended for use as a downpayment for future purchase ? If so, I might have done the wrong thing. I bought some Jan40 Calls for 8.75 when SEPR was at 42.5.(Yeah, up a little bit, big deal.) My intention was to exercise it in Jan. Do you think it is better to sell it now to get my $ back and buy the stock on margin instead ? I need time to digest what you told me over the weekend. May be I'll learn it one of these days, and hopefully not with real money. ( I know you cannot give investment advise and any decision and consequence is strictly my own, so speak freely ! )
