Havn't looked for several weeks, but suspect AMD and NSM are still comparable in terms of market cap. Don't see this being a problem as it would have to be a stock deal.

I don't think it would work because AMD has too much going on to try to integrate the two companies plus I don't know the first thing about NSM's other businesses.

As an alternative if NSM has decided that Cyrix was a mistake, they could sell Cyrix; they wouldn't even have to record a charge given that it was a pooling of interest acquisition.

Don't think it will happen, but market cap doesn't seem to be a problem to me.
