Charles: I agree, SUNW sure as heck would not have paid a premium if NetDynamics were in trouble. What do they get? A large hoard of good Java programmers (which I'm sure they need) at the least, probably at bargain prices compared to hiring in the open market (considering training costs and attrition due to lack of ability), as well as software products. I don't see the problem with this investment relative to SUNW's revenues and what they are getting. They need to strengthen their JAVA position and the best way to do that is a pure Java developer play.
