Bill, I have no position in Zonagen, but I continue to follow it. Concerning the patent, I believe that they do have a legitimate patent for their product. It was not purchased with cheap stock. Zonagen owns the patent. The listed inventor is a former employee of Zonagen. I read the patent a while back, and it sounds fairly solid--much more so than you insinuate. Also, the clinical trial suggest that Zonagen is helpful in treating ED. Your statement that their is no scientific evidence that phentolamine helps with ED is false. While the evidence is not overwhelming, it does suggest that Vasomax is better than placebo. There was some discussion on this thread a few days ago about literature that Pfizer put out and Vasomax. This is true; it was mailed out to physicians, and I received it recently. The publication was about treatment of ED. It was published by Pfizer. It is currently in my office, so I can't quote it. However, it divides the treatment options up into first line, second line, and third line. Viagra (of course) was listed as a first line treatment. Interestingly, Vasomax was too. There was one other that was listed as first line, but I can't remember what it was. The article stated that Vasomax was moderately effective for treating ED with few side effects (stuffy nose and flushing). MUSE was listed as a second or third line treatment. If anyone wants a copy of the relevant parts of the pamphlet, I will be glad to FAX it to you Monday or Tuesday. Send me your name and Fax number through private message. My own opinion about Vasomax is that it will probably help with ED some, but that it won't be as helpful as Viagra. In biological theory, I can see how Vasomax could work. How well it works waits to be seen.
