*Sorry for the delay in response. I was playing Routor Rooter Man until now. Two bottle of Liquid Plumber later, on exploded Clog Buster, and one 35' router cable later (the household 20'er was not long enough, requiring the new purchase), it finally was unclogged. I know who the culprit was and she is now in the doghouse. You don't use the disposer to grind meat, get rid of dried out spaghetti/rice, or anything else that can expand in the pipes without at least running a great deal of water. And by the way, NEVER plunger a kitchen sink if you have a dishwasher. There is an open exhausted tube coming up from the drain that is the drain for the dishwasher. By code it has to be an open system such that you do not create a vacuum as suck up sewage into the dishwasher. I knew that but guess who didn't. Whatta clean up job that was. Instead of just placing the stuff into the trash, this quickie type of waster disposal became $20 worth of drain cleaning, $15 for a new cable, $6 wirth of disinfectant and deordirizer, $9 for the clog buster (which not only did not work but created enough back pressure that whne turn off, it shot back 2 gallons of water onto the hardwood floors), 3 trips to Builder's Square, 2 trips to Walmart, 8 hours worth of manual labor, and 4 hours worth of clean up and floor maintenance. Me, I am the ignornat slob that uses the disposer to get rid of the residual stuff on plates and dishes as a result of rinsing them prior to placing them in the dishwasher intead of catching that gunk in the sink strainer and then flipping it into the plastic trashbag. I thank my lucky stars we do not own a trash compactor!!!<GGG> Back on subject and task. I actually think you might have something there with SYBS. Enough for me to take a crack at it. I was also considering ORCL, another favorite of yours. Andrew
