Dunaskiss, R-Lake Orion, heard that some of
Detroit Edison's suppliers have not upgraded
computers for the new millennium, and that could
result in computer shutdowns and massive
blackouts on Jan. 1, 2000.

"My anxiety level has risen and my concern is
growing because Detroit Edison bought equipment
from the Monroe Plant that is not (year 2000)
compliant," he said.
