And if you bought 100 shares of CPQ in 1986, that $1,450. initial investment has grown to 3000 shares valued at $94,875 per Friday's closing. I know, my next door neighbor bought CPQ back then but had to sell a few years ago to finance his son's college tuition. Talk about a glutton for punishment--he _still_ figures out how much those original shares would be worth!
