Saturday the San Diego Union mentioned the mimic results: Research promising, Ligand says Researchers at San Diego-based Ligand Pharmaceuticals Inc. and SmithKline Beecham PLC said they have discovered a molecule that may lead to an oral therapy to prevent infections that frequently follow chemotherapy. The oral therapy could have "significant benefits" over the currently available injectable forms, the companies said, including improved quality of life for patients.

There have been many 'dips' in LGND (and there are a few 'dips' on the board also), this year (and we're getting close to the 52 week low), so I doubt Friday was the last. Good Luck! --Tony
