You are SO wrong, Michael!!! I love to help people, and I do not discriminate against Jim, either. Why, he has been a real sweetie lately. It is just that after supporting a little girl in Central America for ChildReach, contributing to the American Indian College Fund, my husband personally sponsoring a helpless, homeless elderly man who lives on a heating grate somewhere in the Financial District, and having a teenaged daughter who wants M.A.C. makeup and has learned how to shop for cool, trendy clothing on the internet, I guess I have compassion fatigue. When the bank stole the rest of my money, now I am kiting checks to cover my overdrafts. If you are fair, Michael, you will not judge my whole being by my inability to contribute to Jim in the middle of my own financial disaster.
