Again, read the S1 (prospectus)....The traffic server product IS THE FUTURE of Inktomi not the search engine product..Their search engine was sort of a failure in terms of market acceptance but not in terms of quality of product...The search engine product is great but the cache traffic server product is what will make INKT a success or failure...It is a bandwidth maximizer...By "cacheing" or storing frequently requested info outside the main server, the traffic server will deliver the requested data to the end user without traveling the full length of the network back to the server each time to gather the requested data....This frees up available bandwidth that would otherwise be utilized for this frequently used data requests....Speed, quickness, scalability, and ease of implementation.....This what INKT is selling...I encourage all to read the S1!! Long INKT!! Probably a long time as I bought at higher levels <g> MileHigh
